When: Saturday, 16 November 2013 – 08:45
Where: 1713 Dayboro Road, Dayboro QLD 4521
This time of year is when all of the weeds take advantage of the poor state of the grass and begin to grow in the paddocks.
What will we be doing?
This working bee will work through the cattle paddock removing weeds, some of which reduce the pasture that the cattle can eat and others that are quite deadly.
What do I need to bring?
You will need to bring boots, secateurs, a water bottle and gloves.
When do we start?
We will depart the visitor center promptly at 9 o’clock for the cattle paddocks and will return at 12 for the potluck. Please bring a cold dish to share.
Cattle encounters guaranteed. Snake encounters likely. Indeed we have one red belly who comes to say hi most days.
