Walk for Farm Animals – Brisbane CBD Juy 26th, 2026
Join us for the Walk for Farm Animals 2026 as we come together in the heart of Brisbane to raise awareness for farm animals and celebrate a growing community of compassion.
Whether you’re walking in honour of a rescued sanctuary resident, speaking up for the millions of animals still trapped in the food system, or simply spending the day with like-minded people, your participation helps make farm animals visible.
Event Details
Date: Sunday, July 26th, 2026
Time: Registration opens at 10:30am
Location: Queen’s Gardens, Brisbane
The day begins at Queen’s Gardens, where participants can check in, connect with fellow supporters, collect pre-ordered merchandise, and purchase delicious vegan BLTs before the walk.
At 11:30am, we’ll set off on a relaxed 2.2km walk through the Brisbane CBD. Participants are encouraged to carry signs (no sticks permitted) and distribute leaflets along the route as we share a positive message of compassion for farm animals with the wider community.
After the walk, everyone is invited to stay and enjoy a selection of delicious vegan food available to buy, including burgers, hot dogs and “works” dogs, along with drinks available throughout the day.
Fundraise for Farm Animals
The Walk for Farm Animals is more than a community event—it’s also an opportunity to make a real difference for rescued farm animals.
By asking your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor your walk, you’ll help provide food, shelter, veterinary care and lifelong sanctuary to animals who have been rescued from neglect, cruelty and the farming industry.
Every participant can create their own online fundraising page, making it easy to share your story and collect sponsorships. Prizes will be awarded to our highest fundraisers.
