Join us outside the Ekka show as we hand out over 5,000 “Farm Lies” flyers to Ekka visitors.
At Ekka, the animal agriculture industry gives visitors the impression that farm animals live in clean and comfortable straw-filled barns with plenty of room to move.
Our “Farm Lies” flyer explains the horrid truth, that farmed animals are often kept in crowded and squalid conditions with little room for exercise or even a good long stretch.
We are seeking volunteers for four dates over the Ekka period to stand with us and hand out leaflets: August 6, August 7, August 10 and August 14. Please click through any date that you can attend to help and RSVP on the Facebook event.
If you would like to donate to our flyer fund, so that we can hand out more than 5,000 flyers (nearly a half million people visit Ekka each year), please make a donation. A $10 donation buys us another 100 flyers.
