Farm Animal Rescue is known for providing world-class animal care in a free-ranging environment that gives farmed animals the unique opportunity to live like their wild ancestors.

We are looking for a Sanctuary Farm Hand to work part time four days per week caring for the animals and assisting our volunteers in a team environment.

No experience is required, but we are seeking somebody who can demonstrate a history of volunteering and commitment to animal rights.

Work involves:

Habitat cleaning
Feeding
Basic healthcare and assessment
Barn preparation
Animal barning

Salary is up to $612 per week working four 6.5 hour days – Saturday through Tuesday – with a one hour lunch break. Hours vary between 9.30am to 5pm and 11.30am to 7pm based on the time of year.

The farm is vegan and animal products are not permitted on the property. There is no public transportation available to Dayboro, so you must have your own vehicle.

Farm work is tiring, heavy and dirty. We are seeking an applicant who wants to see the animals at sanctuary thrive. The pay is low and the work is hard, but the impact of the job on providing excellent outcomes for compromised animals is priceless.
