10 years fighting for animals

A fight you'll want to get in...

June 2022

Every single day for the past 10 years we were faced with the most heartbreaking predicament as animals, just like babies Heather, Howard, Holly and Thomas pictured above, came along and needed to be rescued.

Every single day for the past 10 years day we were forced to make decisions about animal's lives, and be certain that if we needed to say 'no' it probably meant the end for this animal.

Every single day for the past 10 years we faced heartbreak as we turned away animals we could save, just to make sure that the ones we had already taken under our wing were given the the most comfortable of homes, the most nutritious of food and expert veterinary and medical care for the rest of their lives.

Every single day for the last 10 years we checked our bank balance and our emergency fund to see if there was room for even one more life we could save.  And when funds, and space, allowed, we would rescue another animal.

Why did we do this?

Because, like you, we have the deepest of love for animals who share our planet.  We believe we should fight for them.  We believe they deserve so much more than the tortured lives they experience when bred into the food industry in Australia.  Because, if we hadn't fought for them then we would not have felt the gratification, the exhilaration, that we experienced watching Howard grow from the sick, pitiful and innocent creature that he was when rescued (above) to the magnificent animal he grew into (below).

We have incredible plans for the next 10 years, but we need your help right now to fight for animals to get those plans started.

If you get in the fight with us, you can be a part of TRIPLING rescues and adoptions over the next ten years, building on our powerful platform of over 30,000 supporters to create a movement for farmed animals that will deem factory farming, painful procedures and long distance transport unacceptable.   And for the ones we can't rescue, join our fight to bring animals to safety and paradise using our network of adoption homes across Queensland and Northern NSW in unprecedented numbers.

This is a fight we need you to join by opening your heart and donating generously, knowing that every single dollar you donate will directly towards rescuing the next Heather, Howard, Holly or Thomas, so that they may live a life of bliss and grow up like Heather (below).
