Meet Arianna, a true sanctuary success story and one of Dorothy’s cherished piglets. Arianna’s journey began with a stroke of extraordinary luck as she entered the world within the safety of FAR Sanctuary in October 2022.
Her mother, Dorothy, was rescued from the pork industry and found haven and freedom at FAR's sanctuary in 2021. Shortly after Dorothy arrived at the Sanctuary, it became apparent that she was pregnant. Dorothy’s maternal instincts shone brightly during this time as she created a secure, comfortable, ample nest to safely bring Arianna and her brothers and sisters into the world.
Family bonds
Now grown up, Arianna is still surrounded by her brothers, sisters, mother, and other sanctuary residents – a heartwarming reminder of the family bonds forged and existing within the Sanctuary.
When Arianna isn't busy socialising with her family and fellow FAR residents, her cherished pastime is lounging in the sun, especially when the weather turns a bit chilly. She's a sun seeker, and you can absolutely count on her to discover the cosiest sunny spot at the Sanctuary.
